Welcome to the new look People's History of Football website. I've changed the format to make it easier to include updates. The emails I've had have shown me that there's a lot of people out there working on a whole variety of interesting projects. Inevitably, working on a book can take months (or even years) so it was important to move towards a format where I could share some of the work that is going on.
I've also learned that different books will require different packages. Some authors want a small number of copies to sell locally themselves; whilst others will require some help with wholesale distribution and other bits and pieces. As different models evolve, the site will also evolve.
If you're working on a football book, whether you're looking for a publisher or not, feel free to get in touch and share what you're doing. Hopefully, you're experiences will benefit others and perhaps inspire a few more.
